Fixed-term for 1 year
The children, staff and Governors of Malpas Court Primary School are wishing to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who is enthusiastic and inspirational. Malpas Court is a vibrant school run by a dedicated, hard working and committed staff, whose primary concern is to provide high quality education within a safe and inclusive environment. The position will initially be offered on a fixed-term basis, from September 2025 to August 2026. The successful individual will become part of a committed team of professionals, who work tirelessly to enable each child to reach their full potential.
We are looking for somebody who:
- Is an outstanding practitioner with a secure understanding of Curriculum for Wales.
- Is a committed individual who enjoys working in collaboration with colleagues to provide the best possible education for the children at Malpas Court Primary School.
- Is a positive role model with the ability to challenge and empower children and colleagues.
- Is passionate about providing rich learning opportunities for all children through an inspiring, creative curriculum.
- Is enthusiastic, motivated, and caring – able to nurture children to achieve their potential.
- Is able to embrace community partnerships and play an active role in fostering excellent relationships with all stakeholders.
- Is able to contribute fully to the life of the school including extra-curricular activities.
Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.
The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a lesson observation. The Governing Body and Local Authority are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
