Llanwern High School is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils from across the key stages. This post will involve working with pupils on a one-to-one basis and small group situations. The successful candidates will be able to familiarise themselves with the educational needs of pupils and draw on information provided by the school and AENCO in order to provide the best support possible. We are looking for candidates who are motivated, patient and supportive. Full details regarding this position can be found in the Job description and person specification.

Llanwern High School is a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school that serves much of the eastern side of Newport. It is housed in a modern building that provides a learning environment appropriate for a 21st century education. There are approximately 1,000 pupils on roll with pupil numbers envisaged to grow significantly in the coming years. Llanwern High School provides a high level of support and offers a positive and welcoming working environment, excellent staff wellbeing and professional development for all employees.
