Family Engagement officer

Cyflog: Grade 6, Spinal Points 17-22

The Governing Body, staff, and pupils seek to appoint an enthusiastic, committed Family Engagement Officer who can support our families and pupils.

The successful candidate will:

• Effectively engage and work closely with families, staff, pupils and the wider community to motivate pupils to reach their full potential
• Have the ability to work as part of a team and have close liaison between teaching staff and parents
• Be responsible for working with families and pupils with the aim of improving attendance across the school
• Be able to work alongside outside agencies and the local community supporting families and pupils
• Be responsible in providing nurture provision for pupils
• Have excellent communication, organisational and record keeping skills

27.5 hours per week, term time - temporary grant funded until March 31 st , 2026. Funding permitted the post could be extended.
