Monday, Tuesday and Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm
Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm (Professional Learning after school)

The Interim Executive Headteacher and Governing Body of Lliswerry Primary School are looking to appoint X2 Level 3 Cover Supervisors who will play an important role in supporting the progress of our pupils and inspiring them to love learning. The successful candidates will be skilled in working with young people and able to supervise learning effectively in the absence of the class teacher, as well as provide in-class support when cover is not required. The role may also include small-group intervention and accompanying pupils on educational visits.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals wishing to gain valuable experience in a school environment as part of their career development.
We are a highly inclusive community focused school whose aim is to develop excellent relationships with all stakeholders in school and also with external partners and the wider community.
We are looking for X2 Level 3 Cover Supervisors who strive for excellence and will be able to contribute to the aims of the school.
The posts are offered on a permanent basis.
We are seeking X2 individuals who have:
- experience in teaching and learning
- dedication to the inclusion of all pupils
- a passion and ability to inspire children to have a love of learning
- high expectations of learning and behaviour
- an understanding of teaching children who are multilingual
- the ability to develop positive relationships with all pupils, staff, parents and governors
The appointment process will involve a lesson observation and an interview with the Interim Executive Headteacher and members of the Senior Leader Team.
