Portmead Jaspers Flying Start Manager: Zara Breeze
An exciting, challenging, and unique opportunity has arisen at Portmead jaspers flying start. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated part-time Senior Childcare Worker. The post holder will work alongside the manager and support the operational management and childcare team of a very busy Flying Start setting based within Portmead primary school Swansea.
At Portmead jaspers we value our ethos of providing the children who access the provision with enriching childhood experiences, to ensure every child has the best possible start in life.
Flying Start is a Welsh Government early years Programme, which seeks to provide targeted support and provide early intervention for pre-school children and their families within specific designated areas, and to deliver specific outcomes for children. Flying Start offers children access to high quality childcare as part of a multi-agency team approach.
As a Senior Childcare Worker, you will be required to have experience of working in a variety of childcare settings, lots of enthusiasm and a passion to support children and families living in areas of deprivation. You will also need to hold the relevant qualifications, Level 5 in childcare, or be prepared to work toward.
